Victorian Terrace House, remodelling and conversion, London.
Way back in 1988, the practice principal, Eugene Raeside, was the job-runner and designer for the restoration, modernisation and conversion of this 3-storey over basement Victorian end-of-terrace townhouse. The brief was to convert it into 4 apartments for a speculative development company.
The rear of the building was extended on 2 levels and accommodation provided in the attic space, which involved re-engineering the roof structure. The brick facade of the building was also re-pointed, windows replaced and all new services incorporated.
When you ask us to be involved in your restoration, conservation, refurbishment or remodelling project, you will be getting the benefit of our 30 years experience in dealing with older buildings and our knowledge of what can be done to keep them in good shape and habitable for modern living.
