Consulting rooms at Fleming Place, Dublin 4

The practice principal, Eugene Raeside, has a background in designing and implementing medical/healthcare related buildings from previous employments as project architect and team leader. So when it came to delivering on a set of medical consulting rooms for Dr. Eva Orsmond, we were able to oblige without any difficulty.

Situated on a former mews lane to the rear of Baggot Street, Dublin, the facility was to be born out of the remodelling of an old distribution/warehouse building, as depicted in the photos below.

Existing building before design.

Working closely with the structural engineers and the client project manager, we designed and obtained planning permission for Dr. Eva’s latest facility in Dublin, providing 5 consulting rooms, reception and waiting area and retail space, staff welfare facilities with balcony, car parking for 2 cars within the building, plant room and a passenger lift.

Before works could commence, the project also required the granting of fire safety and disability access certificates, for which we prepared the necessary documents for submission to the authorities. Construction drawings and site inspections were also part of the services provided.
